Saw About Schmidt at Ward with a couple of friends today.

It was a strange but funny movie. Kind of quirky.

An "old folks' movie", I think, can't imagine my younger friends who are such cinema enthusiasts much enjoying it.

I did, especially because of the fine performances of Jack Nicholson and Kathy Bates, but also because of the wonderful on-the-road scenes of the American landscape. It has been so many years since I've been through such country than it seemed much more "romantic" than it probably would in reality.

I'm wondering if Kathy Bates set an all-time record for the oldest female nude scene in American movie history?
